The Monterey Bay Aquarium has been a longtime leader of the environmental movement. Casella helped them educate the merits of sustainable sushi, as part of a broader sustainable fishing campaign. We developed a micro site that highlighted the many positive benefits of consuming sustainable sushi. Too often, these campaigns follow a negative tack that involves scolding. The new site emphasized a positive message. We also developed an iPhone app promo page for fishmap, an app that allows fans to identify local establishments that follow sustainable seafood. This app makes it easy to share their restaurant knowledge with their friends. A facebook tab was also created to support the campaign.
